Description and benefits

Threaded adapters are used to connect the Classic and HDT drilling devices to threaded saddles and drill the piping both in under-pressure and pressure-free installations.

They are available in 4 sizes to adapt them to threaded 1’’, 1¼’’, 1½’’ and 2’’ saddles, both made by OPTIMQ and other brands.

The threaded adapters are designed to create a tight connection by means of O-rings between saddle, adapter and drilling device, thus avoiding leaks, dripping and loss of water once the piping has been drilled. They can be used in pressure free installations as well.

The design of the OPTIMQ adapters allows for an easy extraction of the O-rings to be cleaned or replaced.

The threaded adapters are fitted with arms for a manual, wrench-free assembly.

All threaded adapters are compatible with the Classic drilling device, the HDT drilling device and with drilling devices fitted with a G 2″ male threaded connection (ISO 228-1, DIN 259, BSPP).
