Description and benefits
Flanged adapters are used to connect Classic drilling devices to flanged tapping saddles according to the DIN standard. They are multi-diameter adapters that can be used equally on DN65, DN80 and DN100 saddles.
There are three types of flanged adapters:
- Flanged adapters, designed to connect drilling devices to flanged under-pressure saddles. They are compatible with the 3 available saddle dimensions: DN65, DN80 and DN100.
- Yoke adapters, which are used to connect drilling devices to slimline saddles and are compatible with the 2 simple flanged saddles or with the OPTIMQ slimline saddle: DN80 and DN100.

- Bell adapters, which are perfect to connect the drilling device to under-pressure connections by means of a gate valve. The hole cutter is hidden inside the bell so that the valve gate can be operated. They can be used with three valve sizes: DN65, DN80 and DN100. These adapters can also be used with slimline saddles.
The flanged and bell adapters are especially designed for under-pressure fittings, as they create a tight connection by means of O-rings between saddle, adapter and drilling device, thus avoiding leaks, dripping and loss of water once the piping has been drilled. The design of the OPTIMQ adapters allows for an easy extraction of the O-rings to be cleaned or replaced.
All flanged adapters are compatible with the Classic drilling device or with drilling devices fitted with a G 2″ male threaded connection (ISO 228-1, DIN 259, BSPP).
