CLASSIC DRILLING KITS
Description and advantages
Classic drilling kits to drill under-pressure or pressure-free pipelines. They are made up of different components, including the Classic manual drilling device and the accessories and tools needed to drill under-pressure and pressure-free pipes through OPTIMQ saddles and saddles of other manufacturers.
The Classic drilling kits are supplied either customised, i.e. with the components needed by each client, or with our standard composition.
Depending on the chosen components, the Classic drilling kits are suitable to drill connections from 1″ to 4″ (DN100) in cast iron, fibre cement, PE or PVC pipes.
Components available for the kit:
- Tool bag.
- Classic drilling device.
- One or more shafts depending on the type of saddle to be drilled.
- Stanley tool bag 41x29x24 cm.
- Small sized and highly resistant drilling device requiring low maintenance.
- Classic drilling device made of tempered nickel-plated steel.
- Shafts made of tempered ground stainless steel
- Drilling device with self-lubricating bearings for the shaft movement and O-ring seals.
- 1/2″ drain tap to evacuate drill shavings.
- Nickel-plated steel drain fitting.
- Transparent drain hose (2m) included with the drilling device.
- DI/AC hole cutters with Widia (tungsten carbide) plates.
